A copy certification is a notarial act where the notary verifies that a copy of an original document is a true, complete, and accurate reproduction of the original. Certainn documents (such as birth, marriage, or death certificated) cennot be certified by a notary public and must be obtained from the issuing agency. In compliance with Indiana law (IC 33-42-14), fees are charged per notarial act.
